1. Who We Are

Dreamhome Properties operates an online marketplace that connects buyers and renters with property owners and agents in Tanzania. We provide the technology that enables listings, search, enquiries, and communication. We are not a party to any rental, sale, or other transaction between users.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Platform.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• Owners and agents may be required to complete identity verification (KYC) before publishing listings.

3. Listings and Content

• Owners and agents are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of the listings and content they publish, including prices, availability, photos, and property details.
• You must have the right to list a property and to grant the licenses described in these Terms.
• Listings may be reviewed and must be approved before appearing publicly. We may decline, edit, or remove any listing that violates these Terms or applicable law.
• You grant Dreamhome a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content on the Platform for the purpose of operating and promoting the service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, fraudulent, or unlawful content, or list properties you are not authorized to offer.
• Harass, defraud, or harm other users, or collect their data without consent.
• Circumvent verification, fees, or security measures, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform.
• Upload malware, scrape the Platform, or interfere with its normal operation.
• Use the Platform to discriminate against others in violation of applicable law.

5. Subscriptions, Fees, and Payments

Certain features — such as premium listings or agent tools — may require a paid subscription. Fees, billing cycles, and included features are described at the point of purchase. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, and by subscribing you authorize the applicable charges. Unless stated otherwise or required by law, fees are non-refundable. We may change our pricing on reasonable notice.

6. Transactions Between Users

Any agreement to rent, lease, buy, or sell a property is solely between the users involved. Dreamhome does not verify every detail of a listing, does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any property, and is not responsible for the conduct of any user. You should conduct your own due diligence, including inspecting properties and verifying documents, before entering into any transaction.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, logos, and software, is owned by Dreamhome and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for content you own, you may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Platform without our permission.

8. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dreamhome and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Platform or any transaction between users.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to us or other users. You may stop using the Platform and close your account at any time.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Platform. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Tanzania.
